Our story
Ernie Plett, the founder and owner of Hiway Express LLC, grew up on a farm. He started trucking for other companies but, tired of corporate treatment, bought his own truck. He persevered, bought more trucks, and built a beautiful business. Ernie, with his wife and sons, provides careers for fellow truckers, friends, and family. He continues to drive a truck and manage the business today.
